" It is hard to overestimate how far a man can go in America if he looks good on a horse.”

NORTHEAST STANLEY - barn name Duncan - 2003 Shire gelding
GORGEOUS - FLASHY - this boy gets noticed! Very nice riding size at 16.3 Black & White, one blue eye - four high whites and a big blaze, belly spots, nice feathering, incredibly thick mane and tail. Sporty build, does NOT have a wide back and does not require draft tack (warmblood bridle, medium tree saddle, 84 blanket). His blankets will come with him. Very athletic, nicely forward. Not a dull draft - has plenty of Go. First place in his first two dressage tests at Snowbird Dressage, Kentucky Horse Park in 2007. Duncan has dressage basics, also jumps. He has a big personality and very friendly. Farrier says he has great Shire feet - good for the farrier, no stocks - barefoot - never worn shoes. Completely healthy and sound - UTD on vaccinations, dental, worming, current coggins. Not for a first time horse owner or beginner because of his size. Duncan is a very social horse - he would never be happy as an only horse. He always makes me smile! (see additional photos on Our Horses page and with this link to his Facebook album http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2016303&id=1076937388&l=e3cfdf7a0c )

$9,500 Somewhat negotiable to great home.
